Huh. It's been a little over 2 months. And then some. Yeah, I'm back. Then again, I never really left. Why today? Why not? It's my birthday and I'll Blog if I want to :) Oh yes children, I'm happy to see all of you too...
Where do I begin? Well, I've just came back from a hearty North Indian lunch with my parents, and am slowly recovering from heartburn. Still, it was worth it :) Later this evening, dinner and drinks. All in celebration of me. Copious amounts, if my friends have anything to say about it :) I'll be purchasing a bottle of German vodka from the establishment, to help kick-start the festivities. What got me about it was the fact that there're gold flakes floating around inside. Kinda like a snow-globe. Very pretty. I've been getting similar reactions from friends whenever I tell them about it though. "Wah, sounds toxic", "Eh, if drink, will die or not?", and of course, "If I shit the next day, will I be able to see the gold flakes?" *sigh* Yes, I know, but they are my friends...
Presents I've already recieved are a cash gift from my parents (which will be put to good use later), and Jeff Buckley's "Live In Chicago" DVD (thank you baby!), which I simply love. Definitely needs to be watched with a side of bourbon. Caution: Not for the suicidal :)
It'll be good to see all of my friends later, some of whom I haven't heard from in months. It's always nice to know people still care :) This is quite a month of festivities though, and hey, Christmas is right around the corner. You know what that means: Dusting off Mariah Carey's "Merry Christmas" album, and putting the Counting Crows "Long December" on repeat! Oh, and there's always the tedious (but worthwhile) task of gift-buying. I've done a few already, but there're still many more to fuss over. Ugh, you know what? Christmas is still a month away (like, duh), but for this month alone, I still have a variety of other birthdays to worry about. Used to be a time I was the only Scorpio I knew. This is not healthy for my allowance. Then again, considering that it's practically non-existent these days...
Don't get me wrong though. I'm loving it. Who doesn't love parties? If there's nothing more fun than getting drunk, it's watching your friends get drunk :)
It's back to school this coming Monday. My last module before I dive into my Advance Diploma Graduation Project. If everything goes well, then it'll be onto my degree. We've finally moved to the Unicampus in Queenstown. Though I miss the convenience of travelling to the many different classrooms all over Singapore, having everything at a school facility makes it feel more... Like a school. And hey, with facilities like a basketball court and air-conditioned gym (and the fact that you can pretty much smoke on school grounds), it's great.
Well, that's about it so far. It's been quietly eventful since my last post, and hopefully, it stays that way. I'm getting too old for this :)

Comments:
